He was born on Feb. 18, 1929, in rural Hallowell to Roy and Mildred (Napier) Tedlock. He attended high school at Columbus. He joined the Army-Air Force in 1946. In November 1948, he was honorably discharged.
He was a self-employed carpenter.
He married Marilyn S. Green on Aug. 16, 1950, in Bentonville, Ark. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Haskell Tedlock, Ronnie Tedlock, both of Hallowell, and David Tedlock of Commerce, Okla.; a daughter, Carol Heater of Afton, Okla.; six grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Pauline Morgan of Picher, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Murdock Funeral Home in Columbus. Burial will be in Oswego Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
