Craig Olin Hinton, 60, of South Jordan, Utah, succumbed to cancer in the comfort of his own home on January 24, 2019.
He was surrounded by those who loved him most and whom he loved most.
Craig was born on September 16, 1958 in Henderson, Nevada to Olin Waddoups and Cherrie (Stirling) Hinton, and was the second of three boys.
He graduated from Basic High School in 1976, Southern Utah University in 1980, and the University of Utah in 1982.
Craig married Tricia Williams in 1982.
Together they had four children;
Ryan, Nicole, Jeff and Brad.
They later divorced.
Craig married his sweetheart, Jennie Allen on September 24, 1999.
They were sealed in the Timpanogos Temple on November 4, 2000 and have two children together; Zachary and Samantha.
Craig also adopted Jen's daughter, Natalie.
Craig was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
He loved spending time with his family; his children and grandchildren were his everything.
Craig took great pleasure in getting to know those around him and making new friends wherever he went.
He loved sports, especially football and his beloved Utah Utes.
He will forever be a Utah Man.
Craig is survived by his loving wife,

Luke and Claire.
He was preceded in death by his mother Cherrie.
Craig was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend to everyone and will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:30 PM on Monday, January 28th at the Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home (1007 W. South Jordan Parkway).
A second viewing will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 29th at the Midas Creek Stake Center. (10860 S. 3200 W.)
Funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM.
Craig will be laid to rest at the South Jordan Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute and 5 for the Fight.
