Jason Matthew Morris was born on November 2, 1982 in Bakersfield, CA. Surrounded by family and friends, he went to be with our Lord on December 23, 2018 after a long, courageous battle with kidney disease.

Above all else, Jason loved spending time with his family. They loved to go fishing and ride quads at the beach. Jason took his wife and kids on vacation every chance he had, because he loved nothing more than to play and spend time with them.

Jason will be forever remembered for his sense of humor. He would be the first to lighten the mood with his jokes and positive outlook on living. He had so many quirky little sayings for every situation and sometimes an accent to go with it! Jason helped so many people recover during his 16 years of being a psychiatric nurse.

He was preceded in death by his grandma, grandpa, and dad, Charles Morris. He is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Tiffany and his children, Ryan, Sean, Abigail and Dylan. In addition, his mother, Alicia Morris, brothers Michael and Nate Morris, sisters in law Melissa Morris and Amanda Gaitan, brother in law Mike Gaitan, father and mother in law Ron and Karen Thomas, and many other loving family members and friends.

Services will be at Hillcrest Memorial, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield. Viewing on Tuesday, January 8th from 5-9pm. Chapel Service on Wednesday, January 9th at 10am, graveside following. Reception will be announced at the service.

"I wanted to see him again, to say goodbye the way I wanted. Then I realized if I got my way, I'd never say goodbye."
