Eva Mae Browning Perry was my grandmother. She was married to William Richard Perry. They had 10 children. I was not yet five years old when she died but I can remember her. I remember her riding in the car with our family and she sang hymns. When I went to her house, I remember chocolate cake with pink icing and her letting me hold an old music box and listen to it play. I remember knowing that my father, Ralph Perry, loved her and visited her often. I think being the youngest he felt protective of her and was close to her, probably because she lost her husband, William Richard, when my father was only five years old. Ralph and his brother, John, were at home longer than the rest of the children. John lived with Grandma until after her death.

William R. Perry of Novelty, Knox Co., MO, over age 21 and Eva M. Browning of the same place over the age 18 received a marriage license on 6 Mar 1893 at Edina, MO.

They were married at Mrs. Browning's house on 8 Mar 1893 by Minister of the Gospel John Winn.

Marriage was recorded on 31 May 1893 at Edina
