Obituary - Funeral services were held in Brooklyn last Friday for Evelyn Adeline L. Semken, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Semken, of 350 74th street, Brooklyn, who passed away on October 19th. Miss Semken spent the summer here with her sister, Mrs. John MacHenry, of 3 Hiddink street, Sayville. She was employed at Sheffield Farms in Blue Point when she was taken ill and returned to her home in Brooklyn, and she leaves many friends here who sincerely mourn her death.
Besides her parents and sister, Miss Semken is survived by another sister, Mrs. William Ayres, of Sayville, and a brother, Alfred Semken, of Brooklyn. She was buried in the Lutheran Cemetery in Brooklyn.
