Pinsker, Dr. Judith, age 57, of Wellesley passed away on December 23, 2018 in a hiking accident in Crawford Notch, NH, while exploring the woods she loved with her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband Dr. Benjamin Smith. Devoted mother of Eric Pinsker-Smith and Jeffrey Pinsker-Smith. Sister of Joel Pinsker. Daughter of Henry Pinsker and the late June (Cunningham) Pinsker.

She graduated Teaneck High School (1979), Princeton University (1983), Harvard Medical School, completed her residency at Rhode Island Hospital, and finally her masters degree at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She worked thereafter at Tufts Medical Center as a Primary Care Physician. Her free time was spent playing flute with the Wellesley Town Band and All Newton Music School, traveling on medical service trips with Timmy Global Health, poking at her garden, and managing her husband and boys. She will be remembered for her honesty, compassion, dry wit, and most importantly, her love of friends and family.

A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16), Wellesley on Friday, December 28, from 4-8pm. A private service will follow. Interment private.
