A member of Arcadia Baptist Church, a charter member of the Dorcus, Ruth, and Willing Workers Sunday School classes.
Other survivors include a son, Tommy Ford; daughter, Cassie Ford Hines; sisters, Lillie Mae Parham Durham (1916–2008) and Helen Virginia Parham Jordan (1922–1997); brother, Herbert Lee Parham (1926–2000); and three grandsons.
Visitation was held from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Thursday, July 7, 1988, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Services were held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 8, 1988, at Aradia First Baptist Church by Rev. Al Phillips and Rev. O. Virgil Turner; burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens
