EDWIN STEADMAN OF WEST JORDAN
CALLED BY DEATH
West Jordan - Edwin Steadman, 75, a resident of West Jordan for more than forty years, died Saturday at his home here. Mr. Steadman was born in Kent, England, January 7, 1851, and emigrated to this country forty-four years ago, settling soon thereafter in West Jordan, where he has since resided.
He is survived by his wife, Adelaide Harrison Steadman, and the following sons and daughters: Charles E. and Sidney H. Steadman, both of England; William S. and Thomas H. Steadman of West Jordan; Mrs. Florence Bratto and Mrs. Edith Silcox of Riverton; Mrs. Mabel Stanton, Evanston, Wyo.; and Miss Violet Steadman, West Jordan. Seven grandchildren and four brothers also survive.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the West Jordan ward chapel, with Bishop William J. Leak officiating. The body may be viewed prior to the services at the mortuary of C. I. Goff in Midvale. Interment will be in the West Jordan Cemetery, under the direction of C. I. Goff.
