Phyllis Monaco Beamish, 88, of Chevy Chase, MD formerly of New Haven and Miami Beach, FL passed away December 30, 2014. Wife of the late William. R. "Bill" Beamish. Mother of Marjorie Bartozzi and her husband Vincent of Chevy Chase, MD and the late Richard Beamish. Grandmother of Cherie (Matt) Tropea, Vincent, Lucy and Richard Bartozzi. Great grandmother of Deuce and Beamish Tropea. Daughter of the late Louis and Crencenza Monaco. Sister of the late Sebastian Monaco.
Prior to her retirement Phyllis worked for Stop & Shop in North Haven for many years.
Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Saturday morning at 10:00. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 10:30. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
