Robert Henry "Bob" Brumfield, 75, of Columbia, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, surrounded by his family.
He was born June 22, 1942 in Joliet, IL, the son of the late William "Bill" and Joan (Haiden) Brumfield. In his youth, he enjoyed fishing adventures, playing baseball, and collecting baseball cards. He was a 1960 Graduate of Hickman High School. Bob was a proud member of the United States Army. He served in Vietnam with the 168th Combat Engineer Battalion from April 1967 to March 1968. He was employed as a finisher by Central Drywall Company from 1971 until his retirement in 2010. He was a lifelong resident of Columbia and an avid Mizzou sports fan! He also enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, collecting anything and everything, watching his grandkids play sports, and his cats, Brigette and Corinne.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother Bill Brumfield.
Robert was interred on December 21, 2018.
