DUBLIN, Ind., Aug. 18. - Mrs. Martha Ducket Fowler, aged 81. one of the oldest women of this place, is dead of heart failure. She was the widow of James Fowler, a veteran of the Civil War. She was born in Ohio on Jan. 10, 1822.. and on April 6, 1837 at Oxford, married James Fowler and came to this town in 1864, from Metamora, Ind. She was the mother of 11 children, of whom but two survive. Mrs. Garret Green, of Chicago, and Mrs. John Andrews, of Indianapolis.

"Ten Years Ago Today in Richmond.
Mrs. Martha Fowler, aged 81 years, died at her home near Dublin."

Will, filed at the court house in Wayne County, Indiana,
August 22, 1903, book 12, page 163,
"I Martha Fowler of Dublin, Wayne County, Indiana, make this my last Will. I hereby give, bequeath and devise my property as follows, towit;
1st: I order and direct that all my just debts and my funeral expenses be paid as speedily as convenient.
2nd: All my personal property of which I may be seized at the time of my death I give and bequeath to Francis E. Jamison. I desire that the said Francis E. Jamison shall dispose of my property thus bequeathed between herself and her two sisters, namely Mellie Huegele and Catherine Kreiger as she may deem best.
3rd: I hereby appoint James M. Mercer of New Lisbon, Henry County, Indiana as executor of this my last Will.
Witness my hand and seal this 15th day of August, 1903.
