Jesse Dennis Wilson, 79, passed away December 17, 2018. He was born September 21, 1939 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Jesse Donald Wilson and Genevieve (Thomas) Wilson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, David, Charlie and Kenny.
Jesse was an auto mechanic and came to Manatee County in 1976 from Brookville, Ohio. He was a baptist and raced street stocks and mini stocks for most of his life. He was known as the Wolfman.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Kathy; children, Dennis Wilson and his wife Daphne of Bradenton; Kelli Jo Dennis and her husband Robbie of Medina, Ohio; Steve Wilson of Bradenton; and Karla Cantrell and her husband Bruce of Indianapolis; sisters, Myra Shorten of Rock Wall, Texas and Kathy Jo Hubley of Brookville, Ohio; grandchildren, Todd, Denny, Dustin, Delta, Jolene, Jessica, Kayla and Zach; great grandchildren, Little J, Dalton, Kaden, Daisy and Paisley; and one great great granddaughter, Mali.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service in April of 2019. Details will be announced.
