Louisville - Ellen P. Wright (Rich), 83, of Louisville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 17, 2018. She was born on May 2, 1935 in Pleasureville, Kentucky. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from Walter Wagner Commercial Real Estate Agency and was a long time member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school. Later in life, she became a member of Highview Baptist Church and was a leader with the Girl Scouts of America and PTA President.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Glenn F. Wright; and great-grandson Jamin Johnson. She is survived by her son, Terry K. Wright (Teresa); daughter, Julie A. Mikesell (Tim); grandchildren; Stacy Boone; Tiffany Wright-Simon; Branden and Daniel Mikesell; & 7 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 12pm Friday, December 21, 2018 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2pm-8pm at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
