Alma Rudolph Arnold Sprow passed away peacefully on December 17 th at Arbor Terrace in Johns Creek, Georgia. Alma Rudolph was born on February 29, 1924 to the late Aaron and Laura Arnold. She was one of ten children.

She graduated from Bunn High School and moved to Baltimore, Maryland and worked at Western Electric for ten years. There she met her “Bob Sprow “. They were happily married for 57 years at the time of his passing in April 2008.

Alma Rudolph was known to her family as Rudolph, her co-workers called her Alma, her friends as Rudi and her grandchildren and great grand-children as Grandmother.

Being a leap year baby she loved to tell others she was 16 or 23 when she was a young 64 or 92. Alma in Latin means “nurturing soul“ and she was just that to her family. She adored her girls, Beth and Nancy, grandchildren Sara, Emily and Elizabeth. Loved her sons-in-law and granddaughters husbands. She said they were sooo good. Loved her great grandchildren Thomas, Payton and Claire. She was an amazing cook, and fried the best fried chicken. Also an amazing baker and everyone loved her hot milk cake with caramel icing.

She loved to clean and wash dishes. She is remembered as being “fussy” and wanted everything just right.

She was a Christian woman with many friends who loved her dearly. She always said family and friends are everything. She was an active member of Babcock Presbyterian Church in Baltimore, Maryland, Dunwoody Methodist Church and New Hope Christian Church.

Rudi was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert (Bob) Sprow; Parents Aaron and Laura Arnold; brothers Grady, Claude, Odell, Linzey, Robert Brooks; and sisters Mozelle Hensley and Grey Harlowe Carter.

Rudi is survived by her daughters Beth Everett ( Michael) , Nancy Manning (Zac) and granddaughters Sara Kettles (Tommy) , Emily Cogswell (Steve) and Elizabeth Ehrensperger (Peter) great grandchildren Thomas, Payton, Claire and Baby E coming in January. Sisters Carrie Gray and Bettye Mullen (O’Deyne) and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Funeral will be held at New Hope Christian Church on Thursday, December 20th at 1:00. Reception following in the fellowship hall.
