Angelle Stone Adams, 92, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, December 17, 2018, at Sunrise of Johns Creek, in Johns Creek, Georgia.

Funeral services will he held 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 29, 2018, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until 12:00 PM, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Adams was born April 22, 1926, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Roland O. & Daisy Reece Stone. She graduated from Georgia State College for Women with a bachelor’s degree in Business. Mrs. Adams was a legal secretary for McDonald and Mills Law Firm, a Pink Lady, a member of the Wiregrass Quilters Guild, a member of the Green Thumb Garden Club and a flower show judge. She was also an accomplished piano player. Mrs. Adams was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children: Carol Adams of Duluth and Dale & Alan Golden of Braselton; grandchildren: Reid Golden & Stacy and Ben Golden & Jackie; great-grandchildren: Maelyn Dale Golden, Cale Golden, Clara Jane Golden, Reece Golden and Teddy Golden and a sister, Emilie & Fred Carswell of Columbus. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Baney Reid Adams and a sister, Dorothy Reeves.
