Mrs. Lucille Locke Taylor, age 96 of Lebanon, passed away on Sunday December 16, 2018 at Tennova in Lebanon.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Wilson County March 4, 1922 to the late H.B. Locke, Sr. and Ethel Cox Locke.
She graduated from Lebanon High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Taylor was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Taylor; children, Eddie, Margie, and Judy; brothers, H.B. Locke, Jr., Robert, and George; sisters, Nina and Alberta.
Mrs. Lucille is survived by children; Jimmy (Peggy) Taylor, Joan Goad, Cindy (Dewey) Jackson; grandchildren, Holly (Mark) Conner, Steven (Stephanie) Goad, Christie Taylor Hutchins, Raymond Hires, and Drew (Christina) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Dylan, Cole, Taylor, Brody, Emily, and Hunter; sisters, Reba Hailey, Betty Sue Lackey, and Emma Jean Fish; she also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks to the caregivers of The Pavilion of Lebanon for their kindness and loving care.
A family graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday December 18, 2018 at 3PM from Lebanon's Cedar Grove Cemetery. Ronnie Gains will officiate.
Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home from 2PM until 2:45PM.
Pallbearers will be; Steven Goad, Raymond Hires, Drew Jackson, Dewey Jackson, Mark Conner, and Hunter Goad.
