Passed away Sunday at Ben Hur Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Daughter of Robert E. and Maude Burnam Wheeler.
Married James "Jim" Thomas West December 13, 1982 at Waynetown. He survives.
Also surviving are stepsons Gerald (Phyllis) and Charles (Kathy) West; stepdaughters Elizabeth (Jim) Halfhill and Lori (Neal) Miles; brothers Jack (her twin) and Bob Wheeler; sisters Jean Cornett , Darlene Brooks, Jane (Bob) Starnes and Sandy (Jim) Byers; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Tommy, Bill and Jim Fred Wheeler, sisters Frances Livengood and Sue Sutherlin, and an infant step daughter Kim West.

1956 graduate of Waveland High School.

Retired from Pace Dairy then worked in housekeeping at the Lew Wallace Study and Comfort Inn.

Memberships included Woodland Heights Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and the VFW Auxiliary.

She enjoyed golfing, refinishing furniture, loved to watch sports and spend time with her family.

Funeral service 1pm Wednesday, December 19 at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, Crawfordsville with Pastor Steve Wilke officiating.
Visitation 11am until time of service.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Association, Indianapolis, IN.
