Laura Call Jensen, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away June 19, 2000 at Alta View Hospital.
Born August 25, 1904, at Bancroft, Idaho, the last of twelve children born to Ira and Emma Jane Call. Married Austin Newell Jensen at the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Sept. 7, 1921. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, serving in many callings, including two missions.
She is survived by two daughters, Myrna Jensen Martineau (husband, Grant -deceas-ed), Wanda June (Smith) Cline (husband-Paul). She has 16 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren, and 38 great-great-grandchil-dren. Preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Lois Jensen Rasmussen Cordner; son, Elden; and granddaughter, Deon Jensen; two son-in-laws, Sterling Smith and G. Grant Martineau.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thurs., June 22 in the Crescent Park 4th Ward Chapel, 10885 So. Pampus Dr., (836 East), Sandy, UT. Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. on Wed., June 21st at Valley View Funeral Home, 4335 W 4100 S, and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the Ward Chapel. Burial: West Jordan City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Valley View Funeral Home.
