Gloria M. Hoover, age 90, of Newberry Township, York Haven, died at 5:30 AM Friday, December 17, 2021at her residence. She was the wife of the late William D. "Pickle" Hoover, Sr.

Born April 17, 1931 in York County, the daughter of the late Earl and Mabel (Betz) Dugan, she was a member of the Goldsboro Firemen's Club.

Mrs. Hoover is survived by a grand daughter, Jennifer Shoff, and her husband David, with whom she lived; two great grand daughters, Laurel and Emma; her son-in-law, W. James Strausbaugh; and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllis J. Strausbaugh; and a son, William D. Hoover, Jr.

A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 South Main Street, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pediatric Transplant Center, Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115
