Hannah Marie O'steen was the fourth of nine children born to the late Robert and Navie Earthly. She grew up in Colfax,Louisiana and accepted Christ at a early age. In 1969 she graduated from Mary Graham High School. In 1970, she married Ben O'steen, Jr. To this union six children were born; two of which preceded her in death. In 1971, Ben and Hannah relocated to Detroit, Michigan. On March 30,2007 God said to Hannah you are getting weary so he did what he thought best, he came and stood beside you and whispered,"come and rest." You gave no one a last farewell, not even a goodbye, you were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. Sister, we weren't there by your side the day the Lord dropped by and when He called you to His side we didn't get to say good-bye. We understood that you couldn't wait that day when God came by for He opened wide those pearly gates but we didn't get to say good-bye. Your battle is over, the victory won ,the time to say good-bye has come, for now you rest with the Three in One, safe in your heavenly home. We say good-bye through tear stained eyes. To our sister and our friend, knowing that in the sweet bye and bye we'll meet again where life has no end. Hannah leaves to mourn and cherish her memories; her husband of 36 years ,Ben O'steen,Jr.: four daughters: Fremeka and LaToya O'steen, Shanda(David)Moore,and Makeba(James)Juners, two granddaughters Shacoya and Amiere O'steen; three grandsons; Donyell Williams,Jr.,Dezman O'steen and James Juners,Jr.; one great-grandson; Dakota Rogers,Jr.; five sisters Marentha(Henry)Chew, Rosie(Donald)Hamilton,and Kathyrn Earthly of Alexandria, LA; Bessie(Emmett)Woodard of Oregon, Wisconsin; and Shirley Duncan of Pineville, LA; two brother; Elvin(Jacqueline)Earthly of Brewton, Alabama and Ronnie(Greta)Earthly of Zachary, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews ,other relatives and close friends. Her mother and father, Robert and Navie Earthly; brother, Henry Earthly and seven grandchildren; Shameka, Shanniqua, Anthony, Tanniqua, Desiree`, Ashanti and James precede her in death.
