Our sweet Ashley walked into the arms of her Lord June 17, 2000 from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Ashley was born Aug. 5, 1982, and lived all her life in West Jordan, UT. Ashley touched and was loved by all who knew her. She graduated from West Jordan High on June 1, 2000, where she was a student body officer. She was active in drill team, concert choir, Peer Tutoring, video productions, student government and was a true friend to everyone. She was a devoted Christian and an active member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where she served as a youth staffer, Sunday school teacher and was a part of the music ministry team. She served several missions to Mexico with the youth and leaders. She was a role model to countless numbers with her love for God and all those that she touched. Her positive attitude was contagious, and her smile was never ending. She was preparing to serve a one year mission with Youth Encounter to minister to youth around the country through music. Now her mission is a greater one with her Lord. She will be greatly missed by those of us who remain. We thank God for the time we were allowed to have her with us.

Survived by her parents, Stuart and Sharon Richardson; sisters, Emily (Tyler) Gaither, Danielle Richardson; brother, Nathan Richardson; grandparents, Ellis and Lois Richardson, Pat Johnson, Donn Frisk; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless Foreign Exchange students from around the world.

Services will be 12 noon, Wed., June 21, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 8575 S. 700 E., Sandy, UT Viewing will be 6-9 p.m., Tues. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State St. and 11-11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.

The family wishes to thank all of Ashley's and our friends for their love and support. In lieu of flowers, they ask that donations be made in Ashley's name to the ROTARY FOUNDATION.
