Harvey L. Burns, 88, of Lafayette, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Creasy Springs Health Campus. He was born on May 2, 1930 in Tulsa, OK. On June 9, 1984, he married Jane Harris and she preceded him in death on May 29, 2003.
Harvey worked for Rea Magnet Wire for many years. At the time of his retirement in 1995, he was a Supervisor. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #103 in Dayton and attended Christ United Methodist and Dayton United Methodist Church. Harvey was an avid sportsman and enjoyed photgraphy and wine making.
Surviving are four daughters; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren three stepchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM on Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. James Bennett will be officiating. Interment will be at Meadow View Cemetery, Lafayette, IN.
