Robert "Bob" Earl Busby, age 79, of, Wilsonville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday December 11, 2018.
Robert was born October 29, 1939. Bob loved the lake, riding his boat, Alabama football and his nieces and nephews as he would his own children.
Bob graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering and was a charter member of Delta Chi Fraternity. He was also a man of devout faith and member of Wilsonville Baptist Church.
Bob will join in Heaven the love of his life and wife of 58 years, Pat Deatherage Busby (1942-2018); father, Joseph Howard Busby (1915-2000); mother, Martha Francis Kelton (1919-1980); siblings, Donald Howard Busby (1938-2013), and Linda McCutcheon McLeod; brother-in-law, Ralph Wayne McLeod Sr.; sister-in-law, Laura Ann Woods; and nephews, Michael Scott McLeod, and Franklin Delano Williams.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his brother, Jerry McCutcheon (Carol); brother-in-law, Alvin H. Woods, nephews, Brandon McLeod (Janet), Ralph McLeod (Tracy), Donald Howard Busby (Maxcy), Bryant Malone, James Deatherage (Tammy), Joseph Deatherage (Rhonda), Samuel Deatherage, Ted Deatherage (Vicki), and John Deatherage; nieces, Alesia Williams, Angela Puckett (Ken) and Michelle Tyler (Lance) and niece Carol; as well as a plethora of great and great - great nieces and nephews, and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Wilsonville Baptist Church, Wilsonville, Alabama on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM followed by a burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham,
