They were the parents of Alice F., born in 1852; Sarah Helen, born in 1859; Charles Ezekiel, born in 1861; and Mary Lane, born in 1863 and died in 1864.
The family resided in Boston's South End until moving to Braintree where her husband, a clothing dealer, died on Nov. 27, 1873. Mary outlived Benjamin by 14 years before her own death at 66 due to a malignant tumor.
