Jacob Feldmann, 26 years old, who was employed as a driver by the Brichler-Buchholz Company, was injured in a runaway accident on Lebanon avenue on Thursday shortly before the noon hour, and died in the St. Vincent's Hospital at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
Feldmann, it is said, had touched the horses hitched to a carriage with a whip and they ran away. He was on his way to O'Fallon to a funeral. The injured man was removed to St. Vincent's Hospital in the Brichler Buchholz ambulance. The horses and carriage were stopped at Glen Addie.
Feldmann was born in Belleville, August 18, 1885. He was single and a son of Mrs. Gertrude Feldmann. He leaves his mother; two sisters and a brother:
