GRACE S. TANNER

Kearns - Grace Armelia Spencer Tanner, 76, 4830 W. 4805 South, Kearns, died Nov. 11, 1975, in a Salt Lake hospital after a short illness.
Born March 7, 1899 in Escalante, Garfield County, to William Joseph and Eliza Articimia Allen Spencer. She married Clarence E. Tanner in 1917 at Escalante; and later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Jan. 7, 1974. She was a housewife.
Survivors include a son and daughters, Clyde Eugene of Taylorsville; Mrs. Rex (Kitty) Bridges, Tooele; Mrs. LaPreal Goodall Szarek, Dugway; Mrs. John (Veda) Simonich, Granger; Mrs. Denna Jean Jarvis Brooks, Colorado; 24 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jesse D. Spencer of St. George; Clyde Spencer, Escalante; and Sam Spencer of Redlands, Calif.
Funeral Friday 11 a.m., Kearns North 9th LDS Ward chapel, 5025 W. 4865 South, Kearns. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at 6500 S. Redwood Road, or one hour before services at the ward chapel. Burial at Redwood Memorial Estates.
