BRADSBERRY SR., Marion Jerold "Jerry" - Age 78, passed away on July 7, 2004. Jerry was born on December 29, 1925, in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. He was a resident of Roseburg, Oregon, for the past fourteen years. A true patriot, devoted to his country, he served as a Navy Sonarman during WW II, then joined the Marines where he continued to serve through the Korean action. He was honorably medically retired from the Marines in 1952. A devoted husband and father, Jerry is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marguerite A. Bradsberry; sons, Marion Jerold Bradsberry Jr.; James Bradsberry; Jonathan Bradsberry; daughters, Susan Ting; Veronica Purvis; Mary Bradsberry; and Jennifer Tippett. He has seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. His life was his family and his loving, open heart extended to many 'adopted' children he mentored throughout the years as a track and field coach and Cub Scout leader. Jerry will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he enriched. A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held on Friday, July 9, 2004.
