Eugene "Buck" Watson was born to Arthur and Mertyle Watson in Antlers OK, the oldest of ten children. Buck was a trucker for many years and was known for his great stories; he never knew a stranger and was quick to offer help to those in need. Buck will be missed by those he left behind.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover Watson, Mary Ellen Hurst, Carol Weaver, David Watson, Ralph Watson, and Charles Watson.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Betty Watson; children Bobby Watson (Judy), Cathy Hill, Pam Watson (Charlie), and Gene Watson; siblings Oscar (Jink) Watson, Virginia Westberry (Clyde) and Beatrice (Glenn) Burch; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, multiple nephews and nieces.
A service is planned for 2pm Friday, December 7, at Columbus Baptist Church, 714 Columbus Ave.
