Born September 11, 1921, in Moscow, Ohio, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Centerville, Ohio at the age of 97. Former long-time Cincinnati resident. Loving father of Julie Thompson (Ed Royce). Beloved grandfather of Nikki Bree (Dr. Paul Thorman Jr.) and Daniel Royce. Great-grandfather of Duncan and Coraline. Preceded in death by parents C.F. Thompson and Sidney Thompson (nee Wilson), grandparents Jasper Thompson and Sarah Thompson (nee Reynolds), Gordon Wilson and Mary Wilson (nee Hawn), brothers William Gordon, Morris and Dowis Thompson. Graduate of Utilities Engineering Institute of Chicago, 1944. Career in A/C and refrigeration industry, including teaching A/C and refrigeration at Great Oaks Career Center in Milford, Ohio. He was an avid golfer, traveler, photographer, past-president of American Societies of Heating, Refrigeration and A/C Engineers, and Southern Ohio Camera Club. Former member of Terrace Park and Royal Oak (Stillmeadow) Country Clubs. Interment will take place at Neville-Vesper Cemetery in Neville, Ohio with a private family ceremony.
