Patricia Ann Strickland, 83 of Stafford Drive, Waverly, Ohio, died 7:25 a.m. Monday December 3, 2018 in Traditions at Bristol Village, Waverly.
Patty was born May 16, 1935 in Waverly, Ohio the daughter of the late William H. Schauseil and Martha Loretta (Hickman) Schauseil. On December 27, 1955, Patty was united in marriage to Ralph D. Strickland, who survives.
Also surviving are her son and wife of Chillicothe, Ohio, five grandchildren, and three nieces and nephew..
Her parents, daughter, Stephanie Jane Bevens, and a brother James D. Schauseil preceded Patty in death.
Patty was a member of the Waverly First Presbyterian Church having served on all its boards and the choir. She was a retired Administrator of the Waverly Income Tax Division, former member of Waverly City Schools Board of Education, former President of Rotary Club, and a graduate of Waverly High School, class of 1953.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018, at the First Presbyterian Church in Waverly, with Rev. Joseph R. Fields, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Union Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio.
Friends may call at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME 4:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 6, 2018 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
