KENNETH ADMIRAL BEARDEN, 71, of Memphis, retired biomedical technician for the Memphis Veterans Medical Center, died of heart disease Saturday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Munford Funeral Home Millington Chapel with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He was a member of the East Frayser Church of Christ and was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran. He enlisted in the Navy during World War II and spent almost 24 years in the Navy. He was a Golden Gloves boxer known as 'Red' Bearden. Mr. Bearden, the husband of Oleta Bearden, also leaves a daughter, Kenleta Pokorski of West Memphis; two sons, Kenneth A. Bearden Jr. of Nashville and Ernest Michael Bearden of Memphis; his mother, Maude Bearden, and a brother, Roy Conway Bearden, both of Jonesboro, Ark., seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
