Obituary for Miss Nancy J. Robinson
Funeral will be 1pm Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Village Chapel for Nancy J. “Sainty Girl” Robinson age 70 of Boaz who died May 29, 2014. Reverends Jimmy Umphrey, Jeff Roberson, and Keith Haney will officiate. Burial will take place at Forrest Cemetery. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
Miss. Robinson had fond memories of growing up as a member of South 11th St. Baptist Church, during the time Reverend Floyd Crowe was the minister. She was a special person who touched many lives. Nancy is now in heaven rejoicing with family that had gone on before her. She is preceded in death by her parents; Oscar N. and Essie O. Robinson, grandmothers; Essie Bellew and Clemmie Robinson, sister; Pamela Robinson, brothers; Billy and Steve Robinson.
She is survived by her sisters; Alice (Jimmy) Rich, Helen Allen, Kay Roberson, and Judy Whitt, brother; Jerry (Fay) Robinson and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Roberson, Keith Haney, Keith Rich, Mark Rich, Shannon Rich, Scott Whitt, Craig Allen, Bryan Allen, Jerry, Roger, and Jimmy Green.
The family wishes to express a special thanks to the staffs of Marshall County Hospice, Shepherd’s Cove, and Dr. Jamie Robinson.
