Funeral services for Jimmy Rivera Escajeda, 52, of Seminole, Texas will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Rev. Joe Sanchez officiating. Cremation will follow at Combest-Miller Mortuary & Crematory in Lubbock, Texas. All services will be under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Mr. Escajeda passed away Monday, May 21, 2007 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born on December 31, 1954 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Sebero & Petra Escajeda. He married Elsa Luna on December 31, 2000 in Seminole, Texas.

Mr. Escajeda was a member of the Primera Iglesia Bautista, and was a former member of the Los Camaradas Motorcycle Club. He was a pipe fitter and worked for Amerada Hess and Ref-Chem in Seminole.

Survivors include wife, Elsa Luna of Seminole, Texas; 2 Sons, Jimmy Terrance Escajeda of Amarillo, Texas, John Joe Escajeda of Odessa, Texas; 3 Daughters, Yvonna Escajeda and Wyvon Escajeda Allen of Amarillo, Texas, Jayme Escajeda of Odessa, Texas; 2 stepchildren, Oscar Grado & Daniella Diab of Dallas, Texas; stepmother, Dominga Escajeda of Midland, Texas; 4 Brothers, Orlanda Escajeda of Odessa, Texas, Armando Escajeda of Fort Stockton, Texas, Cookie Escajeda of Amarillo, Texas, Cesar Escajeda of Midland, Texas; 1 Sister, Mavis Escajeda of Midland, Texas; and 8 Grandchildren.
