Betty Jane Caldwell Odom, age 75 of Sevierville, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018. She was a member of Greene’s Chapel in Morristown and she loved to sing.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Hall; son, Robert W. Hall; her infant daughter; parents, Dewey and Edna Caldwell; sisters, Roberta Thorp, Kathleen, and Bobbie.

Her survivors include husband, Allen “Dean” Odom; son, Wayne Stewart Hall (Mary); daughters, Rose Ownby (Stephen), Dorothy Shoemaker (Marshall); many special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Alby Thorp; sisters, Carolyn Miller, Patti Anson, Gloria Hatt, Shirley Lyons (Carl), and Helen; special friends, Virgil and Belle Williams, Ed and Dwight Ball, Jack and Geraldine Green.

The family will receive friends 10AM-12PM Tuesday with a funeral service to follow at 12 PM in Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel with Rev. Ed Ball officiating. Interment will follow in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Marshall Shoemaker, Wayne Hall, Stephen Ownby, and Levi Konkle. Special music will be provided by Dwight Ball and family.
