I never knew very much about Esther. She lived with my Grandfather for many years. She had 2 brothers Jasper, and Chester E. Hendrickson. (found his obit in the Syracuse newspaper. Two sisters Mrs Nelson Bolster and Esther, a nephew Peter Hendrickson and 2 neices.
I met her in 1973, And when I would ask any questions she would change the subject if it was about her family. She seemed nice and loved to cook. Anything worth cooking had to have butter. She wanted me to make tacos one time. She had heard about them on the Dating Game Show on tv. So I put the meat on she added butter, (I had to go to town to find tortillas) I am just heating them, she added more butter. She claimed to be Pennsylvania Dutch. Three months after Grandpa died she did too.
