MRS. NANCY M. HENSON

Mrs. Nancy M. Henson, Wife of Philip H. Henson, died at her home five miles west of Sedan, Kansas, Jan. 15,1899, aged 75 years, 1 month, 1 week and 1 day. She was born on December 17th, 1822, in Knox county, Ohio, and moved from there when quite young, with her parents to Shelby county, Illinois.

There she grew to womanhood and was married to P. H. Henson in the year 1858. Eleven children were born to them, eight of whom are still living.

She united with the M. E. church in girlhood and lived the life of a christian, and through sorrow and disappointments she maintained that even christian forbearance which mark a true character.

The fuuerai services were held at Spriug Creek school house Sunday, January 16th, conducted by Rev. B. M. Powell and Judge Brewster, and the remains were laid at rest in the Spring Creek cemetery.
