The spirit of Monta Fae WYATT Kinsey was set free when she saw her Maker’s face on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018. She had suffered a major stroke on the previous Sunday, Nov. 18th. She was surrounded by family as she passed away at the age of 84 in her daughter and son-in-law’s home in McKinney, TX. Now, she is able to dance in heaven with the love of her life, her deceased husband.
Monta Fae was born on Mar. 13, 1934 in Cross Cut, TX to Milburn “Bud” Wyatt and Floy Edna MOORE Wyatt. She married Lewis Milton Kinsey on Apr. 21, 1951 in the 1st Presbyterian Church of Falfurrias, TX. They resided in the Kingsville, TX area most of their married lives and raised 4 children together: Milton Glen Kinsey, Laura Sue “Susan” KINSEY Horton, Gordon Lynn Kinsey, and Cheryl Elaine KINSEY Chamblee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her spouse of 58 years, and her two sons. She is survived by her two daughters, her son-in-law, Randy Chamblee, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Monta Fae is also survived by her siblings: Charlie (Betty) Wyatt of Adkins, TX, Rabb (Shirley) Wyatt of Beeville, TX, and Dortha WYATT Pruitt of Sherman, TX.
Monta Fae is remembered by many as a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker who possessed great inner faith/strength and encouraged her children to pursue their goals. She spent her entire life taking care of others and found it difficult to allow others to take care of her after suffering a life-changing fall in her Kingsville home in Jan. 2015. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered with love and respect.
Monta Fae chose to be cremated, and her ashes were buried beside her husband in Kingsville, TX on 3/16/2019.
