Thomas Birmingham

Thomas George Birmingham of Millbank died on Monday at Stratford Hospital at the age of 77.

Mr Birmingham was born in Wellesley Township Dec. 23, 1892 and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Birmingham. He was an adherent of Millbank United Church. He was a retired night watchman for the Millbank Cheese and Butter Co. He retired in August of 1966.

Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Hammond. They were married July 20, 1929 in Kirkton; besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Donna) Hudspeth of Hamilton; a brother, Edward of Flint, Mich.; two sisters Mary Birmingham of Stratford and Mrs. John (Margrett) Faulhafer of Wellesley and two grandchildren.

Four brothers and two sisters died previously.

The body will be at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley until noon Wednesday when removal will be made to the Millbank United Church for service at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Clifford De Quetville will officiate. Burial will be in Rush's cemetery.

Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
