Dr. Ian McAlpine Stewart made his last wildly inappropriate and probably
sarcastic comment on November 16, 2018.

Ian was born to John and Elsie Stewart on September 12, 1941 in Matlock, County Derby, England. Their constant love and support set him on his path to a full and complete life.

He is survived by his beautiful wife of 49 years Christina and his proudest accomplishments, his three sons John, Mark, & Rory and his two daughters Orla and Erin.

Additionally he is survived by his brother Alan of Bristol, England.

Ian’s demise will now allow them to emerge from his shadow. A variety of
nieces and nephews would complete the list of those left to embellish his memory.

Ian worked 50 years in the Oil & Gas industry as a Chemical Engineer.
Ian did not live an average life. He was devoted to his family. He traveled
where he wanted to travel, laughed inappropriately at every chance,
learned what he wanted to learn, fixed what he wanted to fix and loved who he wanted to love.

Cremation will take place at the family’s convenience, and his ashes will be kept around as long as they match the décor.

The Funeral will begin on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 10:30am at St. John Vianney 625 Nottingham Oaks Trail, Houston, TX 77079

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association on behalf of Ian Stewart for his Grandson Ayden Becker.
