Mrs. Sarah Ellen Stokes Lowery, 90 of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at her home. She was born December 12, 1927 in Charlotte, North Carolina, a daughter of the late Shelton Hudson Stokes and Josephine Neal Stokes. Mrs. Lowery was a member of Taxahaw Baptist Church and worked at B.C. Moore's for 31 years. Mrs. Lowery was married to Fred Ellison "Pat" Lowery for 71 years who passed in November.
Mrs. Lowery is survived by a son, Tom Lowery and his wife Patricia of New Mexico, a daughter Jodey Southworth and her husband Casey of Lancaster, four grandchildren, Brian McInnis, Jessica Lowery, Ryan Osborne and Katherine Lowery and one great grandchild, Alexis McInnis of Rock Hill.
