DOVER Harry Edward Thomas, 83, of 4030 Bull Road died yesterday in York Hospital.

He was retired from York International Corp. and was a member of Mount Royal Full Gospel Church and Heritage Senior Citizens.

Surviving are his wife, Elva M. Thomas; two sons, Harry L. of Manchester and Dale C. of Dillsburg; three daughters, Pauline Spangler and Marcella Albert, both of Dillsburg, and Sylvia Laughman of New Oxford; a stepson, Richard Platts of Shiloh; three stepdaughters, Lois Farbes of Newport, Dorothy Matter of Etters and Harriet Findley of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, John of Mechanicsburg and Adam of Camp Hill; two sisters, Minnie Taylor of Etters and Nellie Zinn of Phillipsburg, N.J.; 27 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in his church. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry.

Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Cocklin Funeral Home, Dillsburg, and 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to his church, 5420 Carlisle Road, Dover 17315.
