Jeremy "Jerry" Patterson, Sr., 48, passed away suddenly, Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born on February 14, 1970 in Amory to Dale and Elizabeth Williams Patterson. He had lived most all of his life in the Lee and Monroe County area, before moving to Groves, TX area ten years ago. Jeremy was employed as a construction worker and was working for a private crew, was a Methodist, & enjoyed playing golf, restoring cars, and enjoyed being with his family.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton with the Rev. Paul Beam and the Rev. Mark Williams officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine Patterson of Groves, TX; his father, Dale Patterson (Linda) of Nettleton; one daughter, Andrea Patterson of Mooreville; one son, Jeremy Patterson, Jr. (Amanda) of Guntown; one grandchild and one on the way; one sister, Dina Veazey (Shea) of Olive Branch; one brother, Robert Patterson (Michelle) of Bowling Green, KY; one niece, Kyliegh Veazey; two nephews, Kason Veasey & Brandon Patterson; one step daughter, Abigail Brown; two step sons, Michael & Garrett Brown; two step sisters, Charlotte Lee (Raymond) and Kim Oswalt (Jim); one step brother, Jason Bynum (Maria).
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Simmons, Richard Payne, Adam Payne, Brad Randolph, Justin Pender, David Loveless.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Clayton Funeral Home in Groves, TX and will continue Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton.
