Amy Laura Hillman Stevens, 99, of Bandera, was wrapped in the arms of the Lord and carried home in the early hours on Monday, November 26, 2018. She was born August 8, 1919 in Lima (Medina), Texas to Laura Ellen Coose Hillman and John Casper Hillman.

She was a devout Christian woman who prayed daily for her family and all who were in need of the blessings of a prayer. She was the secretary at the First Baptist Church in Bandera for more than 20 years. She retired from this position when she was well into her 80's.

Amy was reunited in death with her husband, Vic Denton Stevens; her daughter, Sharon Gayle Stevens Hopkins; all 12 of her siblings; her mother, Laura Ellen Coose Hillman; and her father, John Casper Hillman.
