Mary Wathen Breeden, 85, of Bardstown, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at her home. She was born July 6, 1933, in Washington County. She was the youngest of eight children born to J.A. and Gertrude Taylor Wathen. She is the widow of Bob Hahn and Joseph R. Breeden. She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Margie Hamilton, Edith Miller and Virginia Edelen; and four brothers, Tony Wathen, Paul Wathen, Charlie Wathen and Joe Wathen. She is survived by one son, Robert H. Hahn of Bardstown; and several nieces and nephews. The Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at St. Thomas Church with the Rev. Jason Harris officiating. Burial is in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, and 8-9:15 a.m. Friday at Barlow Funeral Home. A prayer service is 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family wishes expressions of sympathy to go to St. Thomas Church or Bethlehem High School. Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
