A shotgun wound suffered by PINCKNEY MOSES EUBANKS, 65, of 908 S. Church St., Wednesday, June 2, took his life at General Hospital, Tuesday morning at 9:45. Coroner GEORGE L. ADAMS attributed death to a self-inflicted wound from a 12 gauge single barrel shotgun. The coroner said a relative told him Mr. EUBANKS had recently learned he was suffering from emphysema and had been despondent over the malady. He was found outsdoors near an out building at the Church Street address about 6:30 p.m. last Wednesday and was taken to the hospital. No inquest is planned. Mr. EUBANKS had operated Eubanks Grocery on the Pauline-Cross Anchor Highway. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. RUTH G. HARRELSON EUBANKS; step-sons, MALCON HARRLESON of Palm Springs, Calif., MICHAEL and RALPH HARRELSON, both of Spartanburg; sister, Mrs. COOPER BRIDWELL of Saulesboro, Ga., Mrs. GLADYS VAN PATTON of Inman; brother PAUL EUBANKS of Spartanburg and four grandchildren. Family at home of daughter, Mrs. LANCASTER, 2201 Bryant Ave., Ben Avon.
