AMY LOU JOSEPHSON

JOSEPHSON, AMY LOU Muskegon, MI age 94, passed peacefully on November 19. Her husband Charles Josephson preceded her in death along with her parents Clayton and Arbutus Near, grandson Kirk Alan Erickson and granddaughter Anna Bersonnet. Amy has five children: Toni Josephson, Jan VanderJagt (Jim), Lori Jagniecki (Art), Brian Josephson and Julie Howton (Jim). She leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Jason VanderJagt, Derek VanderJagt, David Entsminger, Alan Bersonnet, Mary Verschueren, Ben Sheler, Lisa Miller and Dennis VanderJagt. Also surviving her are great grandchildren Elise VanderJagt; Claire and Cedric Verschueren; Zachary, Natalie and Sydney Erickson, and Lola Entsminger. At her passing, she was in her home surrounded by her children. Amy was an active participant in Northside Seniors, playing bingo every week. She also loved to play Liverpool Rummy with her friends on Saturday. She loved having family gatherings in her home. She will be missed enormously. In accordance with her request, there will be no funeral or memorial services as she donated to body to MedCure, helping people in death as she did in life. The family wishes to thank Harbor Hospice for their extraordinary care in her final months.
