Bevan—Mrs. Edith Bevan, 75, wife of the late William A. Bevan of Hamlin, died at the Hiawatha Community hospital Friday afternoon, April 6, 1956, after an illness of several weeks. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ruby Sauer of Hamlin, a son, E. F. Bevan of Hiawatha; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Nicholas Gannon and a brother, Milton Blanchard, both of Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral services will be held from the Meek mortuary at 2 o'clock Monday, April 9, by Rev. Milton Early of Morrill. Interment will be at the Hamlin cemetery.
