Born May 12, 1949 in Anna to Floyd and Jewell Hilda (Watkins) Hale, Jr., he married Betty Ann Chism in 1967. He later married Sherry L. Clawitter on September 27, 1994 in Pekin. She died February 4, 2005 in Camden, Tennessee. He also was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Kimberly Thomas and one sister, Judy Pierce.
Surviving are his mother of Pekin; one daughter, Lynn (Tim) Saettler of East Peoria; one son, Kevin (Leslie) Hale of Metamora and five grandchildren, Nickolas, Lillyann, Sophie, Karson and Bradyn. He also leaves a longtime fiancé, Ruth Hale of Eva, Tennessee.
Kenny was a 1968 graduate of Pekin Community High School.
He last worked for Neal’s Auto Parts in Peoria for 11 years.
An avid Harley Davidson rider, Kenny also enjoyed fishing, camping and boating. He formerly enjoyed drag racing.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Ben Madigan will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Please wear your casual Harley attire in support of Kenny.
