Wilkes County to Welborn and Doshie Spears Adams. Mr. Adams was a local
artist, his art is displayed at the Wilkes County Museum, Wilkes Community
College and the Wilkes Art Gallery. He was preceded in death by his
parents; his wife, Brenda Joyner Adams and infant son, Christopher Adams.
Surviving are his sons, Davin Adams and wife Ann of North Wilkesboro, Monty
Adams and wife Danita of Greenville, Georgia; daughter, Tranclie Brenda
Adams-Coble of Greensboro; brother, Joney Adams of Boomer; and
grandchildren, Jerrica Osborne, Morgan Calloway both of Lenoir, and
Kristina Adams of North Wilkesboro.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Temple
Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Derrick Hodges and Rev. Brian Combs
officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will
receive friends at Temple Hill United Methodist Church from 1:00 until 2:00
on Saturday, prior to the service. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of
