Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pierce Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. Stiles Cobb and the Rev. Chuck Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Sparta City Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Hancock County. She was a retired employee of Central State Hospital. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Pierce Memorial Church and the Fionne Miller Sunday School Class, where she taught for many years. She was the daughter of the late Dawsie Bassett Lovejoy and Mamie Lanier Lovejoy, and the widow of the late Carl Vinson Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Johnson Puckett and her husband, Billy Puckett of Milledgeville; a sister, Camille Tanner of Sparta; two grandchildren, Vinse Puckett of Milledgeville and SaBess Moore of Calhoun.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Pierce Methodist Church Building Fund.
The family will be at the residence at 716 Boland St. in Sparta and the remains will lie in state at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday.
Moores Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
